Ok, so we’ve heard of lovely, little, quirky cinemas tucked away in most cities, showing European or independent films, but what about cinemas that simply put customer service first?
For a long time I’ve wanted to say something about our Palace Cinema because every time I go with my family I just love it. I don’t know anywhere else that serves hot food right to your seat! Yes, that’s right – to your seat! The food is always freshly made and I always look forward to the guy that brings our food to our seat with his carefully picked apron, chef’s hat (always with a smile) and bids us adieu with the words, “Enjoy your movie.”
Some people might criticise Palace Cinema for its smaller rooms with limited seating, but I honestly wouldn’t. Infact, this adds to its charm.
Besides, I love the excuse to cosy up to my husband.
The Palace Cinema also offers a membership card. For just £1 you get discounts on all your tickets and get this – when it’s your birthday they’ll invite you to go along to the cinema and have a free ticket! My family and I have now take advantage of this many times and it makes visits to our local cinema well worth the while, and better than travelling all the way over to Ipswich for our cinematic outings.
For all you mums, dads, grandfolks, aunts and uncles who have little ones to look after over holiday periods, you’re never at a loss with The Palace Cinema – they always have a good schedule of showings for children’s films.
