Felixstowe Photographic Society is holding its 11th Biennial Exhibition at the Trinity Methodist Church Hall, Orwell Road, Felixstowe from Wednesday 17th August to Saturday 20th August 2016. The exhibition is open from 10am to 8pm on weekdays and 9am to 5pm on Saturday. Admission is free.
It will feature over 100 prints and 200 projected images and gives its talented members the opportunity to present their best work on a wide range of subjects and themes.
Felixstowe Photographic Society president, Nigel Rea says “We are a welcoming, lively and thriving club with over 65 members and our aim is to encourage and improve, and have some fun at the same time. Our programme runs from September to June and our weekly meetings offer something for everyone, whatever their ability and interest in photography. These include competitions for prints and projected images, external “battles” with other photographic clubs, regular speakers and social events. We also cover the technical side of photography from the basics to the advanced and offer high quality practical shooting sessions with plenty of advice and encouragement from experienced photographers”.
FPS meets on Thursday evenings at Broadway House in Orwell Road, Felixstowe. You can find out more on our website www.felixstowephotographic.org.uk
