The media rates we quote are do not include VAT as we are currently not VAT registered. Unless otherwise agreed, we require payment up-front, in advance of publication.
Artwork for advertisements must be submitted no later than seven days prior to print and is subject to approval.
If you ask us to change an advertisement after it has been submitted, you accept that we will charge you for any extra work and expenses incurred. (The charge is a minimum of £35)
If you wish to cancel a booking for advertising, you must notify us in writing or via email at least 30 days prior to the print deadline for the next issue in which the advertisement is scheduled to appear. (Please see Terms and Conditions doc here, for full details).
When you place an order for advertising, your company agree not just to these conditions, but those relating to copyright (below).
Acceptance of our work
We are not experts in your line of business and do not necessarily have a detailed understanding of any specific regulations that apply or of the marketplace in which you operate. Therefore, we will always ask you to check any text you commission us to write and/or designs you ask us to create. In confirming your satisfaction with our work, you accept full responsibility for the accuracy of its content and all statements made.
If you do not notify us by writing (in email or letter form) of any errors by the date by which we have asked for your response, we will consider the work to be complete and correct as supplied for review.
When you provide us with recipes, text, images or other source material for publication in our magazines and/or on our websites, it is your responsibility to make sure that:
1. You already own the copyright and all other rights in the work; or
2. You have the necessary licence or other legal permission to use and reproduce it; and
3. Our use of it, online or in print, will not infringe any third party rights.
4. In addition, you grant us a licence, sub-licence or other legal permission to use and reproduce whatever you supply.
Artwork made by Birdy Publications Ltd or its subcontractors remains the property of Birdy Publicaton Ltd unless th artwork has been paid in full.

What do We do with the information We gather?
We require this information to understand Your needs and provide You with a better service. We will also use it to send You the information You have requested – for example confirmation of advert bookings, gaining proof approvals, marketing of our services or news, sending Your invoices, and so on.
We may contact You for market research purposes or to give You information about new features on the website or in our publications. You will only be contacted if we have had previous communications, in which case it is assumed that You have given Us authority to communicate with You, or if We have not yet made any communications to You and wish to open discussion about our services. You can ask to be taken off Our data base so You do not receive any correspondence by email, letter, verbal or otherwise.
Do We disclose Your personal data to third parties?
We will ensure that Your personal data will not be disclosed to third parties except insofar as:
1. You have consented to such disclosure; or
2. We are required to do so by law; or
