Big News… We’ve Merged
We have some REALLY wonderful news to share with you, which I am SOOO proud of, not just in terms of the growth of our lovely mag, but also the opportunity to be able to continue the spirit of the oldest publication in Felixstowe – the Felixstowe Town Crier.
The Town Crier was set up over thirty years ago by a local family. Through the years they’ve spearheaded the promotion of community news and been a reliable vehicle to showcase local businesses.
After over four hundred issues, and with focus on his ever growing printing company, previous owner, John Bafico from Felix Press, was looking for an equally reliable publication company to carry on the goodwill of the Town Crier. We are chuffed to pieces to say that we are the lucky new owners of this long-standing publication and officially announce the merge of the Town Crier with The Felixstowe Magazine. Here in your hands in our very first merge issue – Yipee!
Continuing the goodwill of the Town Crier and bringing under our wing all their loyal advertisers and community contributors who have supported the publication, is quite an honour. Some of your who know our team personally, know that we thrive of business and community service by promoting the town’s great establishments, news and people.
On behalf of the team, our existing advertisers and contributors, a huge warm welcome to all the new members of this family – we look forward to giving you many more years in our pages!
We feel our “little mag with a lot of heart,” has deservedly grown to be “at the heart of the community” and we would like to thank you all – advertisers, the fabulous people of Felixstowe and our awesome readers – for your on-going support.
Once again, huge thanks to you all.
